Anguished Existence

An old poem.

Here I am 

Drowning in the obscureness of my thoughts 

Feeling hollow, shattered and frail 

I've come a long way 

Seeking for the endless serenity 

But all I've found is pain 

 

My lord , help me 

Get through this anguished existence 

 

As time slowly  passes by 

My heart begins to freeze within my chest 

My body is bloodless 

No breath at all 

I am still here 

Though I've been dead

For so long
