Dilemma

I wrote this poem two years ago

I am a misguided soul

I've been deceived

By the one I loved

He said he had to go 

He left me alone 

He broke our

Vows

                                           I am a misguided soul                                           

 

                                                             

Desguised under

The veil of

Ethereal love 

He deluded my sightless heart 

Then he said he had to go 

He left me alone 

He betrayed our vows 

 

                                                        

Now that I'm by my own 

And frightened by

The unknown 

The thought of death is hovering

Around me 

 For once I crave to make my destiny 

                                                        

 

" Restrain thy demons 

In the abyss of thy chest 

Thou art able to sustain this lust "

A voice whispered to me and scrammed 

He left me alone to drown in confusion and dread

Which path should I take ? 

Which world should I embrace ?

Will death end my calamity ? 

Will death offer me serenity ? 

                                         

                                                            

What kind of lives

Can a numb heart

Live ? 

Which beauty

Can a blind eye

Admire ?

Which world will embrace

My wicked desires ? 

I loved the devil itself

And for my sin I shall burn in hell
