Inevitable

Inevitable

A Poem by DeepStruggle

I slumber, I die

In stillness I cry

To awaken my soul

I would give away my life

I would love to be loved

I would love to be found

I would die to be whole

So I could be worth it

And you could be mine

These endless confessions

Unheard , unwelcome

These rage storms

Demolish my soul

I want to go away

At the sunrise

But the daylight hurts

and I cannot live in disguise

I want to know

I want to feel

I want you now

I want you to stay

When I ask you to leave

I want you here

Awake my soul

Arouse my senses

Help me break

All the fences

Surrounding my heart

Show me the way

If love cannot save me

Then life cannot hold me

From going away
