When I lay myself in pain 

On the cold floor 

When I sing to calm 

My bleeding soul 

I don't see you at all

... Because you are never there

When I open my eyes

After a long dreadful night

When the world

Feels like an endless cry

Coming out from a scarful throat

When in ache I flop 

And crawl on my knees

When I stumble in memories

When I drop  

When in silence I grieve

When I go mad 

When I go blind 

When I can't fight 

 The numbness 

When I'm tired

I don't see you at all

... Because you are never there

It kills me that you never care 

  

And you only show up 

When I'm okay 

To stay for a while 

And take my smile away 

To leave me in disarray 

 

The thought of you stills me 

But I don't want you in my life 

I have a lot of things to tell you 

And none of them will sound nice

Somehow you awake the heartless in me

Somehow you make me wanna watch you plead 

While I slowly take away your life and put you to sleep
