Bittersweet DreamA Poem by Donnithe Bard said it all "to sleep, perchance to dream"Dawn breaches the horizon in a whisper as I awaken to a pain I cannot bear. I struggle with the edges of sleep , hoping that it will drag me back into the comforting arms of Morpheus, where I can be lulled into a reality of my own making.
Please let me slumber until Morte’s finale sweet release can keep me in an eternal state of oblivion for I cannot face a life, a day, a moment where you Are not mine.
Dreamscape world where I sit upon Dante’s second terrace dipping my toes In the river of fire that fuels my gluttonous love, where I consume you with a hunger that cannot exist in any dimension of reality other than that of my imagination.
Theta’s blue waves wash over my deepest consciousness where images of you blur as I reach for you across the universe of where I lay and where you do not I curl up in the sheets and wait till the day darkens to night and you are here in my arms forever. © 2012 DonniAuthor's Note

Probably not, but I will continue to work at it, because I love the written word- or well written words strung together to convey a great thought. I don't edit.. more..Writing
