![]() Twirling BladesA Poem by Deegan![]() In essence, the world works either together or against itself, because we all are part of a whole. And until we see that, we will continue to have discord.![]() Twirling blades of grass, intertwined as one. Swirling beads of light, descending from the sun. Whirling gusts of wind, cracking like a gun. Quarreling little jays, dancing just for fun. One heartbeat stops, and the world is hard-lined: Scarred or freed, only together are we sublime. Harmony has a pulse, alone we are expired. Far do we reach, at our hopes to be alive. In this world that we call home, love is not free. Unless I do from you, you will get no love from me. Duchess of my life, I just need you to see: Sunless are our days, as long as we can’t be. © 2010 DeeganReviews
