Mirror, Mirror

Mirror, Mirror

A Poem by Deegan
"

Some people tell you that they are always there for you... But then you realize that all they are there for is to put you down.

"

Mirror, mirror on the ground,

Your beauty, truly, is not profound,

Whithering with your shattered innocence,

And flaunting your sickening insolence.

Shadows fill my heart, and engulf my face,

And where are you to fulfill my place?

You should be reminding me "You are beautiful babe",

But I've learned you don't reflect light, it's not your way.

I cry my heart out as the ugly duck,

But do you even give a f**k?

My reflection only cries your tears,

For you only reflect my fears.

So who is the most beautiful of them all?

Tell me then, if you deserve to be

My mirror, mirror on the wall.
