Sunset

A Story by D S Rollins
"

Just the beauty of being able to look at a sunset

"

They sit next to each other, lost in their future fantasies. The room is lit by the orange skyline. She digs her head into his bosom. He smells like aftershave and faint cigarette smoke. He runs his fingers through her auburn hair.

"I love this" Her voice vibrates on his chest.

"Mm" He agrees, closing his eyes, mesmerized by her scent.

Their eyes lay on the hues of blue, red, orange and green.

It's a nice little scene giving a good idea of the setting and relationship without saying much at all
