Finally getting over you!

I can finally say

 

'I'm over you'

 

I thank God for this day.

 

 

Even though, you will never know

 

that I even had feelings for you

 

I'm not at an all time low.

 

 

I can't believe I wasted so much time.

 

But in my head

 

I really thought you were mine.

 

 

I find it funny how I lost my mind

 

Over you.

 

I'm glad now, I'm in line.

 

 

But I'm afraid I might slip into my old ways

 

I just have to wait

 

For the passing days.

 

 

 

I hope this is the end

 

of obsessing over you

 

I still wish when I said 'I like you'

 

You would have replied, 'I like you too'

awww. yeah i knew this feeling well in high school lol. bummer when someone doesn't notice you. or want to be with you as much as you want to be with them

This was sweet and simple with the nice little nagging feeling at the end. It's like finally giving up an addiction and having the ray of hope.
