You will never understand..

It's always too late...

Why did I wait so long?

Now you will never be mine.


I was scared of being rejected

But there was never the right 'time'


You didn't give me any signs

I thought you were just being nice


Now I will never know

Couldn't you have been more precise?


You probably gave me hints

But I didn't pay any mind


I was pretty much being myself,

Clueless and blind.


I'm so used to having guys as friends,

That I decided to wait


But I guess you took the hint,

And I decided my fate.


Would it have been so hard to say

'Look, I really like you'


It would be only in my wildest dreams

That you would reply, 'Yeah, I like you too'


You're gone, and I don't know if I'll ever know

If you ever felt the same way


I hope I won't have to find out,

on my dying day.

Inspiration: I liked (well, still like) someone, I told him I liked him, and next thing I know, he's with someone else. And I have the worst luck with guys, it's either I don't tell them, or I do and they don't feel the same way.

been there done that!!! Except, the guys that i do get, are real winners. and i say that with the most sarcasm possible. lol. the ones i did like i never thought would like me back and was too afraid to say anything. thought they were way out of my league. but now i guess i see it would have been worth the effort anyways to at least try. i owe myself that much! takes a lot of coursage though to go up to someone like that and tell them how you feel.
