Pitter Patter RainDrops

Pitter Patter RainDrops

A Poem by Jessica
"

Drip, drip.

"
Pitter patter rain drops,
Drip de drip de drip,
Drop down from the sky,
Can you hear that?
It just splashed into the children's slide.

Pitter patter rain drops,
Drip droop drip droop,
Little gatherings of water,
Fall one, two, three
Playing a game of come catch me.

Pitter patter rain drops,
Drip, drip, silence,
Those are the last few rain drops,
What's that brightness?
Where is father cloud?

Pitted patter rain drops,
Silence is the only sound.
It's no longer grey,
But it is to be yellow sunshine.
Bye rain droops.

Bright sunshine,
For where art thou friends?
Pardon me, dear fly?
My little clear wet friends,
They never said goodbye.

Bright sunshine,
For what have you done?
I came out to see the flowers is all,
The children, the grass and too.
They did nothing but be dull.

Bright sunshine,
Bzzz, bzzz bee.
Children where have you been?
Come say hi,
Play with me!

Bright sunshine,
You are no longer so bright!
Don't leave me,
Don't go away,
It's not even night!

Father cloud,
Swish swish swoosh
The dark crawls upon,
For no sunshine,
Where have you gone?

Father cloud,
Swishity swoosh swish shwoosty,
You have come?
Have you seen my dear raindrops?
I miss all too much.

Swish swish,
Swoosh,
Drip,
Drop.

Pitter patter raindrops,
Drip, droop, drip, droop.
Splash down, call the children!
Drip de drip de drip,
Splash

Pitter patter raindrops.

The cruel reality, about reality, is that an effort to embrace it means paradoxically being repelled by it:

Its essence is continuance, as is your poem's concern.

The message Jessica I sent you before meant much to me - I hope reminding you of it now makes you happy.

All of your writing is very creative and tells such a magnificent story. Your battle with your illness is also very uplifting. Keep writing, its a great way to put your mind in other places!
