when i am lost, you always find me
you never let me wonder off alone
when I'm sad you always find a way to cheer me up
you never let me cry alone, you provide a shoulder for me
you are the pillar that i hold unto when weak.

the best times are spent with you
chatting off the nights away till i drop asleep
with stupid conversation that make me laugh
or deep ones that make me think
we have this kind of connection
that only you and i know.

its weird i don't remember how we met
neither how we came to be
all that i know is, it was the best day ever
sometimes i wonder why i did'nt meet you sooner
but I thank God for this is us now
and what i have is today.

so for today I choose to tell you thank you
I choose to tell you I appreciate you
thank you for the good and the bad
thank you for being my friend
thank you for believing in me
today i got to say this is for you
I don't say it often, maybe never said it before
But I love you
