A Poem by Declan Munro
"

i have published this a few times on other poetry sites. Thought I would tentatively put it here.

"
COMPUTER

I’m pissing in the wind of cyberspace
Talking and talking till I’m off my face
Communing with an electrical humanoid being
All encompassing, spidering,  all seeing
It knows my foibles, it knows my mind
It exposes me, unwrapped, vapid, unkind
Recording and hiding its ‘cookie’ cutter smile
Loading my thoughts, consuming my guile
Truly dispelling myself throughout it’s connections
Rolling me out a pancake of introspections
I cannot control it like some who understand its charms
Instead it explodes and nuclear arms
My mind with a million new  knowledge atoms
Ideas, visions, like the rings of Saturn
Engulf  me, so through space I stray
Stripping me bare and leaving me flayed
zero one, zero one binary system tech
Speak another language, brain not up to spec
While unable to grasp its potentialities
Just pissing in the wind of possibilities.
