A Poem by DecentlyOkayWriter
"

you learned from movies how love is

"
curtain call, rush to your places
you learned from movies how love is
now it's time to perform

limitations in emotional faces
fake laughs, stage kisses
show the teens that lust is the norm

snide comments in the backstage
you've forgotten your line again
no wonder you're just tree #9

the fake bird wants free from it's cage
that scene took twenty minutes, should have been ten
close the curtain, you did fine.

"Don't you know all of that is on TV?" Hank Williams Jr. from This Ain't Dallas Yeah, I learned at an early age that the Coyote was going go die but he was coming right back. But it never happens like that in real life.
