Song.

Song.

A Poem by DecentlyOkayWriter
"

the liar, the wistful, and you.

"
the world sings a song
sweet and long
only the sound seems true.
the few who hear it-
most fall off a turret
oh, why must one of the exceptions be you?
the song carries on
hopeful and strong
maddening and deceptive, rosy type hue . .
yet we all just march to noon
while singing this tune
the liar, the wistful, and you.

Nonsense is always welcome here. I don't even think this fully deserves to be called nonsense, not completely at least. It did have an element of silliness to it, but it also rang very true to reality. "the world sings a song/ sweet and long/ only the sounds seems true." That's just a really great collection of lines right there.
