Orange

nothing directly rhymes with orange:

well, nothing except borage

so few have the courage

to write about such a thing.

But today, as I ate my porridge,

I realized that it's abhorrent

that we've left it in storage

instead of having fun with wordplay.

As I looked around I found a shortage

of words that meant what I mean, so I had to forage

for another silly word that almost rhymes with orange,

Yet I found not one more. .

except sporange.

Ha-ha! Truly, I enjoyed this. I've wasted way to many brain cells over the years trying to rhyme that word, and only ever came up with "door hinge". Thanks to you, I now have an arsenal.

I've searched and searched and, darn it, you're right.
I love this quirky stuff. It's somewhat like some of the garbage I produce. Please, don't misunderstand. I'm not calling your work garbage...mine, yes.
