A Poem by DecentlyOkayWriter
"

immovable object meets an unstoppable force

"
there once was
a thing that was tough
and never moved or wept
but when an immovable object
meets an unstoppable force
their voices (you can't blame them) become hoarse
as they yelled and screamed and begged
one wanted to go
and one wanted to stay
both to stubborn to concede
"It's you or it's me!", they hollered with fire
stomping and whining all day
it's such a shame
it turned out such a way
. . .
oh,
if only they did
what the other wanted them to do
maybe they would be
alive to this day
but they wasted their time
with the other's life-
and it's simple,
now they're dead.

Whether or not to take your words seriously or, as at the end, possibly written tongue in cheek. What and whichever your words make sense.. sadly, it happens too easily!
