A Guy

A Guy

A Poem by DecentlyOkayWriter
"

it's not right

"
I'm not in love with him
But my mother is
She insists that he's alright
He might be, but I would rather not give him a try
It's always been her mother, her, and me
and now we've tossed a guy under the tree
My mother's, mother, (say that ten times)
they like to quarrel-
She thinks that he's egotistic, and sad
I'm more along the lines of just plain BAD
They might get married,
and that's insane
Still, who would I be to get in love's way?
Sometimes I want to argue,
that it's not right
But, as long as my mom's happy-
I can't complain
Just please leave me out of this stupid game.
