Myself.

Myself.

A Poem by Typhoid Kelsey

I breathe

I breathe in regret

Drowning in my shame

Scraping out my throat

Looking for air in my veins

A burning self-hate

Myself, I'm up against

Myself, I'm my own worst enemy

I breathe

I breathe out tricklet

Waters come from my mouth

Exhale with no thought

My body the conduit spout

There's no pain now

Myself, I've escaped from

Myself, I'm my own prison dried
