life

life

A Poem by Angela Proctor
"

sorrow

"
She sits alone in a dark room. Heart is broken, soul is slipping away. She thinks, where did it all go wrong? What can be salvaged, like a plane crash, she sifts threw the memories. Looking for a sign of life, She wants to be his rock, but he casts her into the lake like a pebble. She sits there patiently waiting for him to see who she really is. There is no sign of the storm easing. She stands there drowning in her own tears. There's no sunshine in her horizon only red clouds. She tries to be the light in the sky, the star that guides him. He will never feel the warmth of the fire that burns inside her for him. He chooses to stay out in the cold. So patiently she waits for him to see her true love. They both once walked the same path hand in hand now maybe tho they are side by side, they are unable to speak unable to share a map. They come to a crossroads do they walk together or do they take different paths.

Here is my feeling, Kick The Guy In the Nuts! What sucks is when people are the muse of brilliant work. Either way, I liked this and I still think you should kick him in the balls.
