A New Life

This was written after being inspired by the book of Colossians from the Holy Bible.

I was once an enemy in my mind and separated from God because of all of my evil sinful behavior. But God’s Grace has saved me from that place of sinful sadness.  I was chosen. I was picked out of millions to be an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God. He chose me for his honor and glory.  He brought me out of the darkness into the Light so I can give hope to the lost that need to be found.

God fills me with knowledge of his will through his spiritual wisdom and understanding.  He enlightens me and opens up my eyes to his Truth daily.  The secret that has been hidden for centuries and generations past is being revealed to those who love him and live for him.  The riches and glory of his plan are for everyone who will listen and hear.  The True Secret is, that Christ in your heart is your only hope of glory. 

I want you to know Christ with real certainty and clear understanding.  God’s secret plan is this:  Those that learn, accept, love and live in him and through him will have mighty untapped treasures of wisdom, knowledge and power.  I trusted Christ to save me. I now learn and grow each day in trusting him.  I learn to trust him by getting to know him.  I get to know him by spending time with him and learning and feeling deep within my heart and soul his love for me and sharing that love with others. 

I trust him for each day’s problems. I live in vital union with him.  My roots are growing deeper each day in his Word so I can get the nourishment and growth I need from him.  I grow in Truth each day.  Because of this, I overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all he has done for me.  For once I was lost blowing from here to there searching for a home.  I finally have one, I found through knowing Christ Jesus. 

My roots are deep in him and I cannot be swayed or knocked down as long as I get my nourishment from him daily.  I was once a tiny acorn that got planted in The Good Soil and I am growing tall and strong from his feeding and fertilizer of goodness.  A Mighty Oak Tree is what I will be one day. I will be dropping acorns for others to pick up and plant in the Gospel of Jesus Christ so they too can grow strong in The Lord and they can bring shade and comfort for those who seek protection from the “heat” of the world.  May those who need shade find and seek me. May they be open to hearing The Truth and learning how they can grow their roots strong, wide and deep in the Good Soil of The Lord.

I am loyal to Christ Jesus and my life is centered on him.  I welcome him as my Father, my leader.  I willingly submit to his authority over me because his ways and plans are better than mine.

In all I do, say and think God is always put first.  He is the head of my life and rightly deserves first place.

Christ lives within me now. We are no longer separated from each other.  We have a fellowship and a union that is complete.  This came about because I confessed all of my sins and I put him first.  I spend time with him daily in fellowship, prayer and song.  I think about him all day. I mediate on his words.  I allow those words to sink deep within my soul and fill me up with his love, his peace, his patience, his understanding, his knowledge, his wisdom and his joy that surpasses all understanding. I never knew or experienced these things truly on my own.  I now do!  I now have True Joy and True Peace that only comes from knowing God on a deep level.  You can only get to that deep understanding by investing time in him. He desires to have a relationship with you.  By making Christ a priority in your life you will feel his love like you have never felt before.  A human love is so much different than the love of Christ. It can not be put into words. It can only be felt through the heart and soul.  The love your soul aches for is the love Jesus Christ can supply.  He wants to be the lover of your soul. 

Invite him in and wrap your arms around him and embrace his grace.  Be filled with joy that overflows.  It is a joy that you will want to share with everyone.  It is a joy that can replace the tears, the sadness, the frustration, the bitterness, the anger, the hurt.  It is a joy that can fill any wound no matter its depth.  It is joy that can turn sorrow into gladness.  It can give those who feel lost, new direction.  It will take those who are in a dark gloomy valley and set them on a lighted path of righteousness. 

There is joy in knowing The Lord.  He can make a way where there seems to be no way in your life.  He can turn your mess into a ministry message.  You may not know how, but now you know the “Who”. 

• The “Who” that can give you a new life. 
• The “Who” that can give you a new hope. 
• The “Who” that can transform you into something wonderful.
• The “Who” that can wipe your slate clean.
• The “Who” that can give you a fresh lease on life.
• The “Who” that will make you into something amazing and beautiful. 

Declare today that you will place your trust in him.   Believe in what is possible through Christ Jesus.  Make him The Lord and Leader of your life and you will never feel alone, ashamed, or guilt ridden again.  He has a gift for you.  It is free for the taking. He will gladly take your heavy burden from you when you accept his free gift and by doing so, you will be set free.  I know these things because he did them for me!  I am no longer a prisoner he paid my debt and set me free. 

I live for him because he died for me.
