Mom Doesn't KnowA Poem by Deboshmita
Mom I never wanted you to know,
That I was a naughty child, That I used to play seek and hide, That I ate too many chocolates and then later lied, That feeling bad due to your scolding; I cried. Mom I never wanted you to know, That my schooling was lil weird, That at times I was lazy; at times I was nerd, That I got prizes but never spoke out a word, That I was introvert; calm like curd. Mom I never wanted you to know, That my college life was crazy and loud, That I had challenges and I always stood out, That I was the best still never popped out, That my crush was handsome but stout. Mom I never wanted you to know, That I am determined but I lack, That I sometimes fail but never look back, That I want to gain more knowledge through mac, That I will prove I am a diamond in this hole of black. Mom I always wanted you to know,
That I take your name at first; before everything, That I wish your good health; pray and sing, That I never want your life to end; want your eyes to blink, That I Love You and will always like you can never think. © 2015 DeboshmitaAuthor's Note
