Graduate! Not Engineer

Graduate! Not Engineer

A Poem by Deboshmita
"

Its about how I had an ambition to become an engineer but I couldn't. I never failed or gave up. I searched another way to make my mum proud that was BMM Graduation.

"
My mother used to tell me,
You will become an engineer one day.
I always dreamt about it.
I always prayed for it.

Will I become an engineer one day?
Will I be able to make my mum proud?
I think yes! I can!

That day when I was in court,
I was nervous, I was tensed.
My mum stood beside me
And was depressed.

All dreams broke.
All dreams shattered.
Left was my dignity and will.

' What could I do next? ' was in my mind.
Internet! There I go.
Media was the field I choose.
Media was the field I liked the most.

Admission was the next thing I had to do.
Lovely college, lovely teachers and friends lovely too.

Studied three years there;
Knowledge gained and marks too.

Mum was proud, thats all I wanted.
I am upset that I couldn't become an engineer,
But I am happy;
That I am a graduate and not from the uneducated few.

BMM is kinda hot than engineering... in 21st. century. And, BMM has got its own level of priorities among the modernization of competitors so, I think, the course you have done`s all what you had to. After all, beauty becomes more beautiful when the heaven comes down to her soft feet. So, cheer up!

Nice poetry. Glad to read something new and unique. You have well captured the moments of your life; all the feelings of your delicate heart in words which I kinda enjoyed reading `bout. Keep it up!
