Someday

A short poem I wrote when I needed a friend

Someday, maybe I’ll run out of crazy

And then I’ll lose my mind completely

And I won’t have to remember

All the things that hurt, the people…

And all their self-righteous words.

Someday, maybe, I won’t have to hurt again

I’ll know just a bit of peace and then…

Its very moving Deborah. The hurt and anguish is palpable. Did a friend appear? Maybe I can be your friend. I too felt this way and met a friend online and she has made me lift my head again and look at the world in the eye.

Why is this classified as mature ? It`s o.k , as far as
I am concerned, just wondered since we usually think
of mature as erotic or extremely violent.
It is a nice poem, sad but nice.
