Don't Count The Roses As You Go

Don't Count The Roses As You Go

A Poem by Deb deb
"

Not very good at the computer stuff. Posted a picture, but there was no room left for the text. So HERE is the poem.

"
Don't count the roses as you go.
They'll die in your hands
As sure as your love did in mine.

The journey away from you has been long.
The heartache doesn't move for anyone.

Keep the memories.
I want you to.
You deserve them more than I ever did.

Don't count the roses as you go.
There's more pain there than you should ever know.

I know.

I counted them one by one.

I have always wanted to be a writer...never went to college, but have always planned to. It has haunted me all these years...that voice that wants to be heard. I am working as a janitor. Very boring... more..
