As Grief Withdraws

As Grief Withdraws

A Poem by Deb deb
"

Just wrote this. Went to writers prompts.com. It was a prompt for a poem that was to begin with Anger sufers as grief withdraws.

"

Anger sufers as grief withdraws
And the death that lingers
Ignites joy to reconcile.

Time shrivels and scatters its wings.
Regrett takes flight
And lands somewhere beyond our reach.

Tears begin in bitter ponds.
Our faces are dried by bleeding hands.

No more to sorrow than we can conceive.
Birth lingers only for a little while.

What we become isn't how we began.
How we end...
That's the tale that we live and breathe
As grief withdraws

About
I have always wanted to be a writer...never went to college, but have always planned to. It has haunted me all these years...that voice that wants to be heard. I am working as a janitor. Very boring... more..
