Our LoveA Poem by Debra Stevens Edwards (debby)
I knew this was something special from the moment our eyes met, and maybe it's something more that other people may not get.
We had a whirlwind romance and married in just three weeks. When things were good they were so good it made my knees go weak.
In the middle of doing this we would fight and scream and shout.
It took us 14 years but we finally figured out this wasn't the thing to do. So then it was decided and We all said goodbye to you.
We each went our seperate ways. with sorrow in our heart. You see living together was harder, then it was living apart.
I would not tell them no when they ask to see their Dad.
Although we knew it would not work the fire would ignite again.
We are both in love with each other and we will be til the end. I wish that it was different, or that we could be friends.
I'm sorry for physical things that you have been going through.
I hope it all works itself out right. So you get back to being you, with God's help you might.
Well you take care and remember that our love is holding true, And If you ever need me I'll do my best for you.
