As The Leaves Are Falling
I can hear winter gently calling As the leaves are softly falling Hurry up no time for relaxing Again another year is passing This year I can make the time For a vacation or save a dime Times going to fast its a crime Glory of God in life is sublime Three Grand kids arrive this year Much in laughter or many a tear Loved ones held as they are dear Sad comfort or a victorious cheer My road has been full of memories I see bits of some in a gentle breeze As I look out the window at the trees The branches laden with golden leaves I hear the winter of my life its calling As the old leaves start gently falling There is the no time to start relaxing My future, a blessing in my passing 2/22/2009 By Debra Edwards © 2009 Debra Stevens Edwards (debby) |
