Chained

Chained by a love lost in the past.
We both knew our love would last.

When we met our souls did merge.
Still our hearts with love will surge,

at the mere thought of you and I.
My heart is yours and we know why.

When we are apart our souls cry out.
These flames of love will burn and shout.

Chained in this prison by my own heart,
but one day we will make a new start.

Once in Heaven we'll meet each other.
Because for of us there can be no other.

 

This is a precious gift from up above,

A binding tie that speaks of true love.
