My Recipe For Life A Poem by Debra Stevens Edwards (debby)   A recipe for a good life.     My Recipe For Life   Start with a fresh positive attitude, Add 3 heaping table spoons of Gratitude,   Next 2 cups of pre-softened tolerance, Add a dash of zest and exuberance,   Blend gently and throw in some yokes, Add humor to taste and some old fashion jokes,   Add education and wisdom in equal parts, And then this is the filling for these tarts,   Now it's time to make your crust, Start with a generous cup of trust,   Add 3 cups of love, 1 cup forgiveness too, The faith of a child, Make a good life for you.   Enjoy it...    Debra Edwards 9-13-2007

I love it. What a creative way to present your "Recipe for Life!" :) You surely hit the nail on the head for what is needed in this life. The positive attitude carries us a good long ways, and where are we without thankful hearts, or gratitude? Laughter will carry us through many hard times, and trust and forgiveness are absolute musts.

Only saw one typo on the 6th line...."throw" instead of through...
