I think a lot of people would agree - many aspiring novelists on Writerscafe probably hoping their book is the next great *insert your genre here* novel (fantasy for me) will look at the words "Dream big" and nod. And a lot of them will look at your final lines and think, 'yeah, I'm tired, too.' Tired of waiting, tired of thinking and wishing.
Obviously this isn't just one theme - there are a lot if images swirling about in the whirlpool of this poem, some of them more visible than others. As I write this, I haven't checked out the other reviews yet, so I don't know if you've answered this - but I saw this as a poem about pain, deception, and about hopes verging on despair... and about how it can weigh down on the human spirit.
Strong work! Keep it up.

Amazing write! I too am stuck on the "dreams" and "truths" to life. Your poem is real and so many people or philosophies seem so fake to me lately. I really enjoyed this one.

Thought provoking. You took a different angle(and I'm pretty sure a little tinged with pessimism) to look at life. Like good old Bob Dylan said,
"How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
How many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?"
Some say life is just a collection of mirage and illusions. I really loved this poem of yours in here and it really stirred up the whirlpool of thoughts in my mind. The veil is too heavy to see through and understand what life really holds out for you.
Kudos!
