My Life ( The Roll Of The Dice)A Poem by Debbie_PhillyJust a poem..... about how I feel sometimes
My Life ( the roll of the dice) Like the luck of the dice, rolled in pretty colors sprawled out by shaken fist onto the floor. Fist that once prayed to God for some reassurance that it will all work out. I sit here. One die thrown in turquoise blue like the shallow waters washing over me. Streams floating down floating down I need to keep my feet intact on the ground. Cold hard cement where they are planted firm. My spirit is not allowed to squirm. Hands flawing fast grasping onto anything solid in hopes of saving me. Yet it is myself that I need to grasp. I am the only saving grace in my life not the dice. Stand steadfast strong while being nice even in the face of adversity. With eyes smiling in pretty colors like dice sprawled out by shaken fists in determination of my life. I will win this game.
