UNCERTAINTYA Poem by Debbie_PhillyA matter Of Trust
Uncertainty Everyday in everyway Words, action, thoughts Get twisted to fit the play Honesty, integrity, truth HONOR Those words The meanings are so far From the lips of today’s Fellow man There was a time when Someone would say “I give you my word” They meant it My mind is encased With the intentions Of others The paths they lead to Are rarely golden We must open our hearts Open our minds To another time When men stood
For something Stood by their words Said them with conviction Stuck by their actions I do not see this in the Eyes and minds of todays Man It breaks my heart I sure as hell never wanted To die alone These days one never knows By: Debbie Kelly
