What happened to him?

To those who might read this and by chance kno me this poem is not about me. I tryin to get across the feelings a guy has when he is rejected by his friend. It kinda depressin. I admit not my bes work

Why doesn’t she love me?

She knows how I feel,

But she doesn’t love me,

Yet I stay at her side,

What do I do?

She’s still my friend,

Do I stop talking to her then?

She trusts only me to always be there,

I can’t break my promise to always be there,

Cursed by the promise of always being a friend,

To be nothing more but just a friend,

So I cover my face with a fake smile,

Even though I’m broken inside,

She’s fallen in love again,

And I’m stuck looking on again,

With nothing to do but just wait,

Ready to clean up should her heart he might break,

And if he succeeds in his endeavor,

She will leave me alone forever,

And years from now when she looks back,

She would faintly remember,

That guy who was always at her side,

Who told her once he’d love her forever,

And she’d say to herself,

I wonder what happened to him?
