Grief is folding
I've now learned it twice
or did I ever know it before?
It feels so familiar
Stinging my left cheek
But my right feels frozen
afraid

A very strong poem with a universal message. We become numb to grief these days which bleeds inside of us leading to profound depression. It is important to recognize the signs in order to begin healing. Thank you for sharing your poem.
