Bloody painting

Bloody painting

A Poem by Death's Poet
"

Mildly inspired by Lady Lazarus by Sylvia Plath. It's a favorite poem of mine, and I noticed one of the lines bore similarity.

"
If thoughts of death are art
Don't mind me,
I'm slowly painting the Mona Lisa

Each brush stroke
Filled with pain
Ticking off the time I have left

A million strokes
A million strokes
Two very different meanings
Colliding on one canvas

Is that color crimson
Or is it pigment of blood
We may never know

Or if we do
Will it be too late?
To correct such a very sad fate....
