An unusual wedding

An unusual wedding

A Poem by Death's Poet
"

This kind of came to me in a dream

"
Something borrowed
Something new

Something Old
Something Blue

But most importantly I needed you.

So in my white dress
Through the graves I walked

To find your stone
Where hours I would sit and talk

Why couldn't you be here
It just isn't fair

But I'll marry in a cemetery
Just to have my best friend there

I know its just your stone and body
But I had to be close to you

Everyone thinks this is crazy
So I invited very few

I wish you could have helped me
Fixed my hair, get into the dress

But you're looking down from heaven
So I must digress

I have something borrowed
I have something new

I have something old
I have something blue

But dead or alive, I've always needed you
So with your headstone at my side, I will say

I do
