LossA Poem by Death's PoetI never got to meet you But I'll miss you until I die I pretend to see your face When I look into the sky I know that's where you are And I know you're better off there But little angel remember Me and your dad remember, me and your dad care No one else understands our pain In part because the few we told would mock Until a loss like this hits Simple minded fools couldn't understand the shock But Lucy, know that you will be loved And one day we will finally hold you Until then I'll remember, and cry But know our love for you stays true
