Out of the Sun

Out of the Sun

A Poem by Death's Poet
"

A poem about light breaking on the things we do in the dark

"
I lay drowning in a pool of all I have done
There's no way to get out, nowhere to run
For the love of god, someone get me out of the sun

I get it. I like it.

It's a feeling that's hard to forget.

One can wish for the son to become nonexistent but thy can never succeed in taking away the sun that lives in all of us. Some shine more brightly than others, some are clouded by darkness and some are flaring with fiery passion but what is the one thing that these people have in common? They have a sun which is bound to shine but only when you wish for it. In life, it looks like one cannot runaway but if you have become aware of your limitless, one has already transcended to a higher state of the mind. For you may not runaway physical but one can still run away by writing or thinking. There is always an escape in life, some are just hard to find.

I really liked your short but powerful poem. You have talent, so you should never stop writing. No matter what.

Good job :D
