A Poem by Death's Poet

Was dead inside
But now found light

Was laying down
Now stands to fight

Was beaten down
Now starts to rise

Was looking down
Now face to the skies

Was all but gone
Life toward the end

Was once alone
Now with a friend

Was giving up
But not just yet

Was trying to
But I won't forget

Your style is familiar to me now SP - I like how you've made it your own. This is good and deserves a title.
Well penned. The final stanza exhibits a learning curve - what use is forgetting when we can learn from those and move on?

Thank you so much Anto :)
Well that what makes us fighter, standing up each time we fall and as a fan of batman
"why do we fall?
So that we can learn to pick ourselves up"
