Family

Family

A Poem by Death's Poet
"

I wrote this poem in the midst of disowning my brother

"
The ones who hold you close
Who wipe away each tear
Either by birth or chose
That's family dear

The ones who support you
And give you their love
That has nothing to do
With with whats in your blood

Maybe from start
Maybe after many years
When the word falls appart
They will comfort your fears

The ones who forgive you
No matter what you say
Family has nothing to do
With your DNA
