You

You

A Poem by Death
"

*shrugs*

"
As much as I tell myself
move on,
It seems to be
the hardest thing to do.
As often as I tell myself
look away,
It is one of the things
I can't pull myself to do.
I wish I could,
in a way.
Be able to move on,
and just look away.
But I can't,
not after all we've been through.
From a single hug,
to a passionate kiss.
Memories of you,
just seem to stick.
I  wish they wouldn't,
too much pain.
But I can't stop replaying,
some of my happiest days.
I can't help but miss you,
no matter what others say.
I will always love you,
even if you don't stay.

I know the back story of this, making it all the more powerful since I know that its real. Great write, the format was very cool. :)
