Into The Smoke.

Into The Smoke.

A Poem by Deathless_Sorrow

Into the smoke I fade.
All my colors change to one shade.

I stumble upon the ground.
Looking for pieces of a mask that was never meant to be found.

A mask that I shattered and banished from my skin.
A mask to hide everything within.

The pieces gather into a pile.
As if they were begging to defile.

They slide together like they were never broke,
And the smoke now becomes my cloak

The mask that I once found so foul,
Is now my wise and weary owl.

I realize some grammar is wrong, it was for the rhyme, deal with it.
