Rome Did Weep.

Rome Did Weep.

A Poem by Deathless_Sorrow

The sun is strong and the wind is sharp.
The angel takes wing with her harp.

Oh what songs she sings and stories she tells,
As she travels the path that brings her closer to Hell.

From Atlantis to Babylon she looked for a home.
Until she made up her mind and settled in Rome.

The days were glorious and the nights were romantic.
But being this close caused her to panic.

Without sight and without sound,
She left poor Rome with no clue to be found.

Rome did weep and Rome did fall.
And soon was disgraced by them all.
