The Wonders Of The World

The Wonders Of The World

A Poem by Deathless_Sorrow
"

Sappy love poem, I thought it was sweet.

"
Meadows flourish with bright colors of green,
Hinted with the reds, yellows, and blues of flowers.
The wind sweeps over and makes trees whisper and grass shimmer.
The sky is a bright blue dotted with patches of little white clouds.
The air is sweet, clean, and refreshing to breathe.
A small stream gurgles in the distance,
The sounds of rustling leaves and animals stirring fills the ears.

Beneath the ocean's surface,
Bright colors against a rich blue background darting about.
Light glitters off scales and reflects softly onto rocks nearby,
Giving them an lively complexion.
The gentle purring of the waves breaking above,
The soft flutter of fish as they swim lazily by to lay in the coral.

A majestic and proud mountain stands tall.
Both day and night it ardently watches.
Cold peaks frosted with snow and fertile land below.
Beautiful greens and pale blues contrasted with bright, pure white.
A diversity of life living in both harsh and kind elements.

All these wonders and breathtaking sights in the world,
Are nothing when compared to you.
