Strange events

A Poem by Hide From God
"

Should I be seeing these things I see everyday?

"

Hello? Is anybody there?
Walking down these empty halls
Looking inside the rooms
Can you believe what I see?

Kids are hanging from the rafters
With their open, blank eyes at me
A man on the floor inside out
With heroine pouring out of him
A child is on a bed wailing
Because it is giving birth to its mother
A couple stands next to each other
Shooting bullets through each other
All the time smiling at me

My eyes roll back into my head
Showing the whites of my eyes
Christ maybe I just died
But I'm alive and well
Maybe not well
Because should I be grinning
and laughing at these things I see?
