Love Dreamer

This poem is about a dream I had.

I see it deep within me,

My heart yearning for you.

Between two lost souls,

This is a love forbidden.

Eyes leaking black tears

From my dark heart turning pure.

You have opened my heart and soul,

Allowing me to learn about true love.

I watch you roam the earth,

Looking for someone to hold close.

Feeling hopeless and lost,

I dream of being in your arms.

One day, I shall make that dream come true,

Making you mine.

I can feel your soft breath on my neck

As you ask me to be yours.

Pulled against your body,

Gasping from the intensity of you.

As long as I dream,

This shall come true and you shall be mine.

Once my grandmother said that if you have a nightmare, the bad things that happened to you will never happen in real life as long as you relay that nightmare to someone. I don't know what happens to dreams though. Anyway, your poem has a strong sense of longing to your partner and I must admit that these kinds of dreams satisfy our loneliness of not having the other by our side. Whenever reality kicks in, we only hope that we are living in the world of dreams and fantasy and we become afraid of what's in front of us. So I wish you luck on your love journey here.
