Devil of Love

Devil of Love

A Poem by PetiteGemini
"

I wrote this poem because it came to me when I was just laying down, thinking.

"

With every passing moment

My heart grows weary with sadness.

You walk past with your devilish smile,

Your beautiful eyes and posture.

Killing me, draining me of my soul.

Love is never true.

I fall on the floor, gasping for breath,

not wanting to be alive.

You see me, smiling, your eyes black with evil

One final blow of your words and I am done.

Dead on the floor, watching you stand over me.

I am now nothing but a sad soul that fell for your tricks.

The Devil should be proud for his son has enchanted another girl under his spell.

Nothing more than a ghost, I  fly up to the sky to join the other poor girls that you have killed

One day, we shall pay you back for your hurt.

You will never see it coming.

For now, however, we must let our scheming come together.

A interesting beginning. Could be a good story. You have a storyline with many opportunity. Revenge is always a good story. A excellent poem.
