ChernobylA Poem by Stephen Bennett
A little poem based Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster 1986 also targeting human man made things, that is often blamed on mother nature doing. Government refuse to take blame, so do people. Yet when you sit and realise that a land is now unliveable, even the cats with kittens suffer a happy, hunting slow dying life, how many people could image that.
We dreamed of a glowing night, without borders, Now escaping the air of cancerous and disorders, We dreamed of Children Glowing and playing, Under the night sky at the fairground, but now they are just all praying, Skin disease cause of the reactor, No makeup to use not even max factor, Food is now Spoiled, so is the land, Children take your mother’s hand, Clouds of radiation reached as far was Wales, Screaming and sounds from Western Soviet Union Sails, Listen Closely can your hear, Mama where are you now, Cries of the children who lost parents, can carry on how, Here a poem about Chernobyl without any borders, Thinking about those who survives and with disorders, All in the head, disaster of that day stay, All in the head, Nightmares won’t go away, When a modern world, here in 2018, b***h and moan, A world of 1986 fought and lost a whole area now on mother nature loan, Crying and throwing mood swings, cause you haven’t got the newest phone, When no one can call Chernobyl there home. Now the grounds are poison, When you all say that love can be a reason, Animal in the infected area, suffer a slow dying life, Wolves, Spiders, with cat with kittens, While we complain that are hand are still cold even with mittens, Now there lies approximately 1,000 square miles of infected soil, While the government plans out the climate change order in toil, Begging for a change in climate, still destroying area’s for new houses, Fighting with your spouses, government is now in your blouses and Trousers, Chernobyl ended by a man made reactor, the climate change is the same and that a factor. © 2018 Stephen Bennett |
