Old Love, Dead Friend

Old Love, Dead Friend

A Poem by FJS98

I've known it for long but kept it buried inside.
It no longer joys me it know that you've tried.
You wear these masks like you're at a ball,
And I've fought all the facts like they didn't matter at all.
But now that is at an end.
I'm tired of crawling and playing pretend.
I don't know you and I'll never say I do.
For behind those masks Is " I don't know who"
The friend I knew had messed up my head.
But worry no longer, that friend is dead.
